Crystal Glow Skincare does not use any synthetic fragrances in its products. Our signature scents are 100% naturally-derived and comply with the strict standards of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA). The IFRA standards are updated regularly and based on extensive research and toxicological research.
The main ingredients both pregnant and breastfeeding ladies should avoid are Vitamin A and its derivatives (Retinol, retinoic acid, etc.), BHAs, and a lot of the nasties we don't use like parabens and phthalates! We provide full disclosure of all our ingredients in each product so please refer to those in the product descriptions. The Bergamot Essential Oil we use is bergaptens free and used at low levels, well within the strictest of standards upheld by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA). If you have any doubts or questions we always suggest talking to your doctor before introducing a new product onto your skin.
We are very pleased to say that you absolutely can. In fact, our founder and sensitive skin bearer swear by them! The Crystal Glow products are packed full of anti inflammatory, soothing, and calming botanical oils which make it fantastic for angry and sensitive skin. The Crystal Glow moisturizer is incredibly nourishing and soothing. Great for some extra hydration and skin barrier repair. We suggest always performing a patch test on hidden skin first if you have concerns.
Most definitely! In fact, we encourage it. You should be cleansing your skin with a product that doesn't strip hydration or alters the skin pH by wreaking havoc on the skin natural acid mantle. If you are prone to congestion and breakouts we really suggest exfoliating 2-3 times per week. The Crystal Glow Acne Cream was made for you! The facial products are packed full of lightweight, fast-absorbing, and most importantly (for my acne-prone sisters) non- comedogenic oils. This means they won’t clog your pores, instead of penetrating deep into the skin layers to nourish from within.
